Luchtmachtdagen 2010 in Gilze-Rijen
This is meanwhile the third time that the Team meets up at the Luchtmachtdagen of the royal Netherland forces. So it's always a special Event for us, because it provides the possibility to talk and see each other personally and not again via Internet by Teamspeak. The Airshow of course is the number one reason to make this trip, although it keeps being a special thing for everybody who´s participating.
But the very special thing with this event is of course the fact that as a flight enthusiast one will get offered a bunch of amazing impressions. So every year international and national squadrons and Aerobatic Teams are representing themselves.
This year we meet up with the virtual Turkish Stars as well as we did with Sawamura and Frazer from the VAT "Berkuts". We have shared a lot of information which was an interesting experience again for everybody. It's quite a different think when such an conversation happens personally instead of sitting in front of your PC and communicate just by Teamspeak. The Highlight was a dinner in a Restaurant close to Gilze-Rijen AB, the final result was this groupe photo below.

The Leader of our Friends Team the Virtual Turkish Stars, Dutchman has had his Highlight of the year. Him and a few members of the VTS and the VF had the chance to meet up with the real Turkish stars Pilots.
This image above represents Dutchman with the Number 2 Pilot (Fatih KIZIL, a cool guy by the way) whom we talked to a long time about everythings related to real aviation, real Aerobatic and the mirrored virtual representation of the Turkish Stars. Later the Virtual Turkish Stars have received a special gift from the real Team. A Photo frame with a signature of each Pilot of the real Turkish Stars. On the opposite way the Virtual Team has made a gift to the real Team as well as they created a huge poster of the Virtual Turkish stars with signature of each virtual Pilot. The real Team has announced to link the virtual Team on their website.
