The Virtual Falcons Aerobatic Display Team is introducing ourself
We are a virtual Aerobatic Display Team based on the PC Flightsimulator Flaming Cliffs 2.0. Our Hobby is the Training and presentation of Aerobatic Manoeuvres with one and/or more Aircrafts. The Team is not covering a real existing Aerobatic Team. The Name and the contents of our Squadron are completely fictitious and were founded by our Members and Pilots themselves. But the Aerobatic Manoeuvres belongs in one part to the regular presentation of real existing Display Teams and in the other part to our own ideas.
The whole Team is divided into 2 main groups. At first there's the Staff Team (VFStaff) which is further divided in the Head Management and other organizing Persons like Modder, Narrators and Tour planers for our real Life experiences like joining Air shows or just meet and being friends. The second Group are the Pilots within the Team. This Group is further divided into the Flying Groups. The first one is the Delta Team, which is performing their Manoeuvres out of the Diamond Formation. Then we have the Solo Pilots. This Team consist out of 2 Pilots which is filling the empty Space within an Air show which is appearing automatically while the Delta formation is turning somewhere around the Demonstration Location. The combination of both Teams shall guarantee a flowing performance without unnecessary breaks. The third and the last Group is the Solo Display Pilot. This Display consists out of only one Aircraft/Pilot. His job is to perform some spectacular Manoeuvres with some awesome effects.
So why are we all doing that?
Well, the training serves among others for the purpose to represent the Virtual Falcons Aerobatic Display Team at the annually recurrent VFAT (Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams). We've joined VFAT the very first time in December 2008. As we also was part of the Low Land Tiger Meet in Ahaus/Germany, where we've been invited for which was a great honour to us. The Team is just about in case to organize and train for a further partizipation at VFAT 2009 and we hope that much more will follow.
